John and I are a healthy, non smoking, married couple living at Coral Cove, Queensland, Australia who love travelling overseas and in Australia. Housesitting gives us unique and authentic experiences of living in different communities / countries and the satisfaction of looking after adorable pets in their homes.

We housesat an oceanfront condo on Molokai, Hawaii five times and holidayed in Hawaii each time. Reference is attached.

At Machans Beach we housesat a lovely home with pool and cared for two beautiful staffies, a young and active male doberman, three cockatiels, 10 laying hens, two snakes, three ponds of fish and beautiful gardens. Regular updates ed. Reference is attached.

For three months in France we housesat a lovely 19th century renovated farmhouse on an acre of land with numerous fruit trees and gardens, two dogs, five rescue cats and five chickens. Regular updates ed. Reference is attached.

At Hervey Bay in a home on one acre we cared for a golden retriever and two beautiful cats and supplied updates on their progress. We also looked after a pool and plants. Reference is attached.

Over two weeks we cleaned and maintained a unit and walked, fed and cared for Shade, a large rescue dog. Regular updates were ed.

We cared for two black standard poodles in a home on 5 acres at Limpinwood, NSW. John mowed the lawns, we cleaned the home and fed, exercised and cared for Yum Yum and Darcy and ensured the owners were updated on the dogs’ progress. Reference attached.

For 2.5 months we housesat a beautiful home and garden in San Diego. The backyard was all garden, pool and tiles so regular watering of gardens and sweeping of leaves were performed. There were 10 hummingbird feeders which we kept full and maintained the home in a clean and tidy condition. On a weekly basis we changed the filters and one third of the water in a fishtank of guppies.

In mid-2013 we both retired. John was a Detective Inspector of Police before becoming Director (State), Investigations, Australian Tax Office for 5 years and I worked for the Queensland Police Service for 25 years.
Having owned numerous homes with chlorinated or salt water pools, we understand the value of reliable and responsible house sitters. We would appreciate the privilege of caring for your home and pets in your absence to your high standard.
We currenty own and love three cats, one female Burmese and a male and female Tonkinese. We have owned two beautiful Staffordshire bull terriers, tanks of African Cichlids and aviaries of finches & parrots and six laying hens so we know how and would love to care for your pets. Please advise of any special needs your pets may require.
